ASTM 975 Teramesh Type Retaining Wall System Metal Gabion Baskets
The modular is used to build rock-faced reinforced soil barriers
and embankments (also known as mechanically stabilized earth). It
has been utilized on some of the most important infrastructure
projects throughout the world, including what is thought to be the
world's highest reinforced soil structure, standing 74 meters high.
Nova metal gabion baskets are built up with heavily galvanized iron
wire or Galfan-coated iron wire with an optional PVC coating to
resist corrosion.

The following information shall be supplied by the purchaser at the
time of inquiry and order:
a) Number of Standards according to, for example, EN10223 or ASTM A
975;
b) Quantity and type of designation (for box gabions with or
without diaphragms);
c) Size of the rolls or units;
d) Mesh size;
e) Wire diameter (mesh wire and lacing wire);
f) Coating type and class of coating, if applicable;
g) Characteristics of the eventual organic coating, if applicable;
h) Inspection documentation requirements.
Example of designation to be used on ordering:
According to EN 10223-3:
Quantity: 1000 pieces (Or 1100 Square meters or 1.1 ton);
Mattresses 3m x 1m x 1m, 2 diaphragms;
Mesh type 8 x 10, wire 2,7 mm;
Surface treatment: Hot dip galvanized 245gsm + PVC coated.
