Woven or Welded Type Galvanized Gabion Stone Basket For Retaining Wall

Gabion retaining wall is a high quality steel material rectangular structure. The steel wires are woven or welded into pieces and assembled into cages. Gabions are strong, yet flexible, accommodating ground movement. Gabion retaining walls are also permeable eliminating water pressure building up behind the wall. They can be installed quickly and cost effectively as no footing or curing is required.

Gabion retaining wall can be woven gabion cage or welded gabion cage. The woven type gabion retaining wall is commonly used for protective applications and the welded gabion cage is widely used as decorative wall to replace the dull brick wall

The gabion retaining wall consists of several layers of gabion cage. The gabion cages are stack up to form a stable structure. The gabion cage on the top commonly has shorter width than the bottom cages. When all the gabion cages are installed completely, it will form stair-step structure.
