Product Description:

The gabion wall is also called retaining wall. A standard gabion wall consists of numerous individual metal wire baskets, or cages, joined together by wire ties to form a unified structure. You can build a single level of baskets or stack baskets on top of each other for a taller wall. The size of the baskets and the rocks varies according to the builder's needs. In some cases, crushed stone is used in place of rocks. You can place the walls vertical to the ground or leaning inward.

Heavy galvanized wire, zinc according to BS 443, min zinc coating 255 gr/m2 and tensile strength < 500 Ν/mm2

Heavy galvanized wire, with 10% aluminium (GALFAN or Zn90Al10), zinc according to EN 10244-2, min zinc coating 255 gr/m2 and tensile strength < 500 Ν/mm2

Plastic coated wire (PVC), min PVC coating 0.5 mm, inside heavy galvanized wire, zinc according to BS 443, min zinc coating 255 gr/m2 and tensile strength < 500 Ν/mm2

Gabion retaining wall Features:

2. Simple installation. No special technology needed.
3. Weather proof under natural destroys, corrosion resistant.
4. No collapse even under big scope of deforming.
5. Sludge in the stones is good for plant growing. Mixed to form an integrity with the natural environment.
6. Less transport freight. It can be folded together for transport and further installation

Gabions constructed with care can create visually pleasing structures. Unlike other types of materials such a modular block walls the gabion stones do not discolor due to drainage.
